Our Behaviour and Relationships approach is built upon positive relationships, clear routines, high expectations and a strong sense of belonging. Through our CHILD Pledge and commitment that Every Child Matters and Every Moment Counts, we teach pupils the behaviours, habits and attitudes that enable them to thrive both academically and personally.

We recognise that positive behaviour is taught, modelled and nurtured. Staff explicitly teach expectations, celebrate success and provide support when pupils need help making positive choices. By working in partnership with families, we create a calm, respectful and purposeful environment where all children can learn, develop confidence and achieve their full potential.

Our approach is underpinned by kindness, consistency and inclusion. We maintain high expectations for all pupils whilst recognising that some children may require additional support, guidance or reasonable adjustments to be successful. Through this balance of support and accountability, we help pupils develop responsibility, resilience, self-regulation and respect for others.
