Newark Hill Academy

Our Achievements

We believe that we provide a caring school community in which children can feel happy and secure. The children, parents and staff at the Bishop Creighton Academy are working very hard together to make our Academy successful through a combination of care and dedication.

We believe that strong partnerships with home and the Academy are crucial. We aim to work with you to support your child throughout their time with us. As such we operate an open door policy; this means you are always welcome in our Academy.

We hope to develop independent and successful learners who are confident and eager to come to school each day. Our aim is to ensure that every child will leave Bishop Creighton with the skills, knowledge and confidence to succeed in their future lives.

Bishop Creighton joined the Greenwood Dale Foundation Trust on 1st April 2015. To read more about the Trust's mission and vision, click here.

Whilst the school in its present form was built in 1966, there have been schools on this and neighbouring sites since 1850. The majority of our pupils live in the East ward or central Peterborough. We have a diverse and culturally rich intake. Our Academy is growing, we welcomed an additional class of children in September 2013, increasing our number on roll to 240 pupils.

Our website has been designed to provide you with some useful information about our Academy and as a vehicle to share with you what goes on at Bishop Creighton. Should you require any further information please do not hesitate to contact us.
