At Newark Hill Academy, we offer Breakfast and After School clubs for all children in our care to provide a safe, learning and enjoyable environment. 

After-school clubs are offered on a first come, first served basis with a maximum of two clubs per child. This is to ensure that every child at our school has an opportunity to experience a club and try something different. We also have Youth Dreams Project, with experienced and qualified coaches come and deliver 6 after-school clubs that are aimed at all different age groups.

Breakfast Club is run by qualified staff who are employed by the Greenwood Academies Trust. Overall management of Breakfast Club is by the Interim Headteacher.

Breakfast Club takes place in our main hall with access to the playground and various equipment.

Breakfast and After School Clubs are available for booking via ParentPay. Breakfast Club is required two days notice prior to the date families require.

Opening Times

At Newark Hill Academy, Breakfast Club and After School Clubs operate during term time only. These are closed during half-term and teacher training days.

There are two sessions for Breakfast Club.

• Session One is 7:45am to 8:45am. This includes breakfast for the children.
• Session Two is 8:15am to 8:45am. This does not include breakfast.

The children are then taken to their classrooms from Breakfast Club.

• After School Club runs from 3:25pm to 4:25pm.

Costs

All payments are required via ParentPay. Breakfast Club must be booked two days prior to the date the family requires.

Payment for After School Clubs is required in full before the club takes place. This is subject to review.

• Breakfast Club Session One is £2.70 per child per session
• Breakfast Club Session Two is £1.50 per child per session
• After School Clubs is £4.00 per child per session. We do offer clubs free of charge.
