French Day on Monday 2nd February was a vibrant celebration across the school, with children arriving dressed in the colours of the French flag and enjoying a delicious French‑themed lunch. Classes took part in a range of fun activities, from starting the morning with French word searches to exploring French culture through music, art and language. Year 6 impressed everyone by constructing Eiffel Towers using triangular structures and creating thoughtful acrostic poems, while Year 3 filled the music rooms with French songs on their ukuleles and even danced along to Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes in French. They even played some matching card games in French! It was a joyful day of learning and creativity.
