Year 5 enjoyed their time at the cathedral this week, learning more about Katherine of Aragon, the monks that once worked there and exploring the parts of the building that were added during the Tudor period. They dressed as monks to learn about their jobs and duties, made clay tiles to replicate the ones in the cathedral and saw where Katherine was buried. We learnt lots of interesting facts, which were brought to life in the magnificent surroundings of the cathedral!
