05-03-26 World Book Day

The school was bursting with stories, smiles, and snuggly outfits for World Book Day! The children arrived looking wonderfully cosy in their pyjamas and comfy clothes, perfectly setting the scene for a day full of imagination and adventure.

We kicked things off with a lively assembly where pupils stepped into the shoes of their favourite characters and acted out scenes from much‑loved books — a brilliant start to our story‑filled celebration!

Throughout the day, children travelled from classroom to classroom, exploring teachers’ favourite stories and joining in with a whole host of fun activities. From making pop‑up books and debating ideas, to going on bear hunts, creating patchwork art, crafting paper dolls, designing ties, and making masks — every room offered something new and exciting.

The enthusiasm and joy from the children and teachers made it clear that this year’s World Book Day was a truly wonderful success.
